I LOVED Alex's debut novel, Brightly Woven. It was so so good, you guys. When I found out she was writing another book, a supernatural thriller no less, I freaked the freak oooouuut. It was originally supposed to release in spring of 2013, and I was like, Forget the diploma, I know what I'm getting for college graduation. Then the release date got moved up to winter 2012, and I was all, put that baby in my stocking! As you can see, I'm extremely excited, and you should be too. At first I was like, What is King Triton's trident doing in a junk yard? But then I really looked at it, and you know what? I think I love it. The barbed wire, the creepily iridescent background...and are those BULLET HOLES? I think they might be. Ooooh I cannot wait for this book!

ReplyDeleteOMG I'm so glad I read your post about this book! I've never heard of Alexandra Bracken before, but this book is definitely on my to-read list! The synopsis sounds like something I would DEFINITELY wanna read!
